Personal Notes:
These are the famous squares that our grandmother, Aleen Rothschild used to have in her freezer. Freddie Hall was a caterer in Columbus and Grandmother would buy the squares from her. Laurette did not have the original recipe, but she spent a lot of time creating this recipe and perfected it to taste like the original. It was a favorite of Larry Jr. So, whenever Larry Jr. came to town, I knew there would be Freddie Hall Square's in the freezer! They are worth the effort. You may want to double the recipe and hide some in the back of the freezer in a separate container. They go fast.

Advice from Laurette: It is okay to cook steak frozen on the grill. Larry did it all the time.
