3 lbs. potatoes
2 T. margarine
2 T. flour
2 c. milk
8 oz. velveeta cheese
garlic powder
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut potatoes into one inch cubes. Place in large saucepan, cover with water and boil 10-15 minutes, until 3/4 cooked. Set aside. In separate saucepan, combine melted margarine and flour, mixing until smooth. Place over low heat and gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Continue to stir until smooth and liquid begins to thicken. Add melted velveeta cheese. Stir well. Drain potatoes and add to mixture. Add garlic powder and pepper, stir well. Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve in individual bowls. Top with cheese, chives, and/or crumbled bacon.
