1 c margarine or butter
2 c sugar
3 c flour
4 eggs
3 t baking powder
1 c milk
1 t vanilla
1/4 t salt

Icing:
1 box powdered sugar
1 stick margarine
1 t vanilla
2 - 3 T milk.
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add baking powder, salt flour. Mix well. Slowly add milk. Bake in greased and floured pan 30 minutes at 350º. Can use 9x13 cake pan, cupcake pan, or 2 8" round cake pans. For icing, mix margarine, vanilla, and powdered sugar on high speed with electric mixer. Add 1 T milk at a time until spreadable consistency of frosting.

Great for parties, birthday cake, or just a plain white cake with simple powdered sugar icing. to add fun for kids, add a few drops of food color on top of batter and swirl through batter with a knife before baking. Add sprinkles on top of frosting.
