1/2 cup Butter, softened (1 stick butter)
1/4 cup Sugar
1 Egg Yolk, beaten
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 Egg White, unbeaten
1 cup finely crushed pecans

Butter Frosting:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted Butter, softened
4 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
4 1/2 tbsp. Milk
2 1/4 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Blend in flour and salt, sifted together. Shape into 1" balls. Dip each ball into egg white and roll in nuts. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Dent center of each ball. Bake 5 min at 350º. Remove from oven and dent again. Once cooled, fill with tinted butter frosting.

Butter Frosting:
Blend butter and sugar. Stir in milk and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
