"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb. of sausage or ground pork (I used Jimmy Dean)
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced cabbage and carrots (found in a bag in the vegetable section)
6 green onions, finely diced
2 Tbsp. Teriyaki sauce
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg, beaten
50 wonton wrappers

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the sausage and onion, just before it is completely done, add the shredded cabbage (drain only if necessary). Once done, remove from the stove and place in a small bowl.
Mix in all the additional ingredients.
Open each wonton and run a wet finger around the seam edge. Place about 1/2 Tbsp. inside each wonton. Fold over and press to seal with a fork or your fingers.
Place a light amount of peanut or sesame oil in a large skillet and lightly saute the pot stickers on each side.

If you desire a dipping sauce, you can use a plum sauce or a sweet and sour dip.
