2 cups flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Mix in shortening with large fork to form coarse crumbs. Add milk; stir just until dough sticks together. Turn onto lightly floured surface and knead lightly 8-10 times. *Do not overwork the dough!*Pat or roll to 1/2-inch thick; cut with round cutter. Bake on ungreased sheet at 450º for 10-12 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.
