Pastry for a 2 crust pie purchased at locate grocery store.
2 - 2 1/2 lbs. apples
1 cup sugar, divided
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter

No Roll Pastry
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup oil
2 T. cold milk
(Whip liquid with fork and add dry ingredients into pan. Press in pizza pan with fingers). Bake 8 - 10 minutes at 475 degrees.

Prepare pastry crust in the usual way
Add dough to pizza pan and press crust in the pan with a turned up edge. The flute at the edge of the pizza pan keeps the liquid inside the pan. Core apples and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices. Overlap apple slices on the crust arranging them in a large circle. Stir together 1/2 cup of sugar with the cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over apple slices. Combine the remaining sugar, butter and flour until coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle this mixture on the pizza. Bake in a 450º oven for 20-25 minutes or until crust is done and apples are golden brown. Cut in wedges and serve like a pizza.
