Ingredients:  
6 chicken breasts (bone-in or boneless)
1 c soy sauce
1/2 c white vinegar
1 c water
2 large onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic
2 bay leaves
2 Tbsp sugar
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients (except sugar) in skillet with cover.
Add chicken breasts.
Bring liquid to boil, then reduce to simmer and cover.
Simmer for 45 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Turn chicken over one time during cooking.
Add 2 Tbsp sugar 5 minutes before cooking time is over.

Serve with plain egg noodles.
