1 pack of yeast or 2-¼ tsp yeast
2 tbsp warm water (120 degrees)
5 c all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
3 tsp baking powder
1 - tbsp sugar
1 ½ tsp salt
1 c shorting w/butter (Crisco)
2 c butter milk

Directions:
Directions:
Stir all dry components together. Add shorting, yeast and milk. Kneed together for about 2 min, fold one to two times. Roll out to desired thickness about ½ to 1 inch, use regular drinking glass or whatever size you want to cut out biscuits. Brush with melted butter and let sit for about 5 min.

Place in 400-degree oven and cook for about 12 to 15 min or until golden brown.
