8 oz. dry fettuccine
1 T. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 T. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. evaporated lowfat 2% milk
3/4 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 lb. cooked chicken
1/2 c. chopped red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare pasta according to package directions, drain. Heat oil and garlic in medium saucepan over medium heat until garlic is fragrant. Stir in flour and black pepper. Add evaporated milk and broth. Cook sauce, stirring constantly for about 8 minutes or until mixture comes to a gentle boil and slightly thickens. Stir in 1/2 c. cheese until melted. Add cooked chicken and bell pepper. Mix well. Add cooked pasta to chicken mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and basil leaves if desired. Serve.
