1 lb. butter
1 lb. brown sugar
1 qt. vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Bring butter and ice cream to room temperature. Cream the butter and brown sugar. Add the ice cream and mix the three ingredients completely. Place mixture in the freezer until it is to be served. Boil water and put in a serving cup. Add 2 oz. rum to water and 2 heaping T. of batter into the liquid.
Shake nutmeg on the top of the Hot Buttered Rum Drink.
