3 c. Sugar
4 c. Flour
2 c. Milk
Raisins
Walnuts
1 c. Vegetable Oil
4 Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Cinnamon
3 pkg (3 oz) Instant Vanilla Pudding

Starter (Day 1)
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Sifted Flour
1 c. Milk
Combine sugar, flour and milk in large plastic or glass jar and stir well. Leave container on shelf. Do not refrigerate.

Day 2 - Stir
Day 3 - Stir
Day 4 - Stir
Day 5 - Add 1 c. sugar, 1 c. flour and 1 c. milk, stir well.
Day 6 - Stir
Day 7 - Stir
Day 8 - Stir
Day 9 - Do nothing
Day 10 - Add 1 c. sugar, 1 c. sifted flour and 1 c. milk; stir well. In 3 separate containers put 1 c. starter. Give to 3 friends with set of directions. To remaining starter add the following:

1 c. oil
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 pkgs. (3 oz) instant vanilla pudding
1 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins

Stir well. Add nuts and raisins. Pour into 2 greased and floured pans or 1 bunt pan. Bake at 325º for 1 hour.

Finished starter may be refrigerated to stop fermentation.
