1 egg
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 milk (add 1/4 cup more if needed)
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup oil crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in large bowl, one egg beaten into milk. Mix flour, salt, baking soda in separate bowl. Combine wet and dry ingredient together and stir. Batter should be thick. Heat skillet with a oil over medium heat. Drop 1/4 cup of batter into hot grease, when golden brown turn and cook raw side. Drain on paper towel. Serve with butter, syrup, jam or peanutbutter.
