instant mashed potatoes
1 lb ground beef
1 T flour
2 T minced onion
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (15 oz) peas, drained
1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
1 T melted butter or margarine
Directions:
Directions:
Prepare mashed potatoes according to package directions for 6 servings. In medium skillet, cook meat; drain. Stir in flour; add onion and tomato sauce. Cook 3 or 4 minutes. Spoon half of meat mixture into a shallow 2-quart baking dish. Layer with peas, then corn. Spread remaining meat over top. Top evenly with mashed potatoes. Drizzle melted butter over top. Bake at 375º for 20 minutes until potatoes are lightly browned.
