Personal Notes:
This is a recipe from my father's mother, whom we called "Mom". It has been used by me for at least 10 years and I have tweeked the ingredients to make a pie favored by my family. Dark molasses will make a better and more flavorful pie. The brown sugar will make the top more brown looking and boost the molasses flavor.
If you use 2 egg yolks in the "goo", the bottom of the pie will be more moist and gooey!
