2 bottles dry red wine
1/2 c. brandy
1/2 c. triple sec
1/2 c. orange juice
1 c. simple syrup
2 oz fresh lemon juice
Any citrus fruit plus 1 firm apple

*1bottle sparkling water or 7-up.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all wet ingredients in covered container. Slice citrus into thin rounds, chop apple. Add to sangria and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight before serving.
To serve pour over ice, add a few pieces of the fruit and a splash of the sparkling water or 7-up.

Simple Syrup
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 cinnamon stick
Bring water to boil. Add sugar and dissolve. Turn off heat, add cinnamon stick and let liquid seep for up to 30 minutes. Cool, remove cinnamon stick before using.
