1-2 lbs Ground Beef
onion (Optional)
Mashed potatoes
Cheese (American, Velveta or Shredded cheddar)
Salt & Pepper
Veggies: Corn , Green Beans (Optional)

Directions:
Brown your ground beef in a skillet and add in some diced onions when it's almost done.
Drain off the grease.
I like to season my meat with salt, pepper and sometimes some Lawrys Garlic Salt.
Lightly Butter the bottom of a Casserole Dish.
Pour your ground beef in the bottom of the dish.
put a thin layer of cheese over it.
next start layering your other veggies on top of it.
Top this with Mashed Potatoes and then more cheese on top.

***You can skip the veggies and just have meat, mashed potatoes and cheese... The choice is yours***
