1 8-ounce cream cheese package softened
4 T fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup butter softened
1 16-ounce package powdered sugar sifted

Cream butter and cream cheese. Add lemon juice and powdered sugar. I usually do not use a whole box of powdered sugar because I like it to be less sweet.

This icing will keep in a jar in the refrigerator for about 3 weeks.

When I make muffins out of the Banana bread recipe, I ice them as we eat then and not all at once.
