Ingredients: I roll of Sugar cookie dough (or a package of sugar cookie dough that is seperated into individual cookies) 1 (8oz) tub Cool Whip 1 Cup Powdered Sugar 1 (8oz) Cream Cheese 1 tsp vanilla Fresh Fruits...such as: Strawberries, Grapes, Kiwi, crushed pineapples, bananas, blueberries, rasberries etc

Directions: |
Directions:Spray a Cookie sheet or a round pizza pan with Pam... Press the dough out evenly onto the pan. Bake as directed on the package or until the cookie is done. Set aside to cool. In a Bowl mix together the cream cheese, cool whip, powdered sugar and vanilla flavoring until creamy. ***Sometimes I add a little food coloring to give it a pretty color depending on the holiday or occasion that I making it for.
Once the cookie crust has cooled, spread the Icing mixture evenly over it. Slice fresh fruits into smaller pieces and spread all over the cookie evenly...one kind of fruit at a time so it will appear to be layered. Dig in and ENJOY....this is Wonderful
***Tips...If you happen to Over bake your cookie crust and it is to crisp/hard...Don't worry.... because once you get the whole pizza put together...and it sets for awhile...the crust will soften up.
I also usually wait until Right before Serving this to add my sliced up banana's...so they don't turn that ugly brown color and also so the taste of the bananas does not Overpower the rest of the fruit, which tends to happen after it sets for awhile. (***Be sure to use a PLASTIC knife when slicing bananas, to help prevent them from turning brown in color.***)
******TIP: I have also made INDIVIDUAL MINI Fruit Pizzas too... These are great when you need to serve alot of people so they go alot further. You do these the very same way except you bake individual sugar cookies instead of one large one. Then dice up your Fruit even smaller for this. :)) |
