2 C. all purpose flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp shortening
3/4 C lukewarm water
canola oil, for frying

Navajo tacos:
Canned or homemade Chili
grated cheese
olives
letttuce
tomato

Dessert:
cinnamon and sugar
honey

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender. Gradually add the water stirring with a fork, it will be crumbly.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly until the dough is smooth. Divide in half and let stand for 10 min.
Roll 1/2 of the dough into a square 1/8" thick. Cut into desired serving size, repeat with remaining half.
Pour oil into a skillet over medium heat. Cook about 30 sec. on each side. Drain on paper towels. Top with desired toppings.
