8 cups bread crumbs
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup raisins (optional)
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 cups milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
4 beaten eggs
Sauce:
1 cup sugar
2 cups Water
1 Tblsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla
cinnamon to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x13 pan. Place bread in bottom of pan. Sprinkle evenly with sugar, salt, cinnamon and raisins.
Warm milk and butter in microwave until melted, stir in eggs. Pour over bread and bake in oven about 40 minutes or until browned.
In a sauce pan, mix sauce ingredients together. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over bread pudding when it comes out of the oven.
