2 lbs butter
1 1/2 lbs sugar -3 cups
15 eggs

1 1/2 cups milk
5 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 t. orange peel
2 t. lemon peel
2 t. vanilla
2 t. cinnamon
1 t. nutmeg
1 t. cloves
1/2 t. ginger
1 lb. nuts. Almonds chopped
Approx. 5lbs flours
(for chocolate add 1/2 cup cocoa and 1/4 cup sugar)

Cream first 3 ingredients and add the rest of the ingredients combining well. Be sure to stir in the flour slowly. You will have to use clean hands to knead the dough as the dough will be very stiff. Roll dough in long lengths and cut in to 1/2 or 1" bits.
