2 cups pecan halves
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
6 small bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

Combine pecan halves, oil, and hot sauce in a large, heavy-duty zip-lock bag. shake well. Add 6 bay leaves and the next 6 ingredients, shaking well.

Spread the pecan mixture evenly into a jellyroll pan. Bake at 325º for 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Discard bay leaves. Store in an airtight container.
