1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons Jello (in flavor of chosen fruit)
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water

1 pie crust, either pastry (baked) or shortbread
Strawberries or peaches, sliced to fill the crust.
Directions:
Directions:
Mix the dry ingredients. Add water. Cook until thick. Place fruit in the prepared pie crust. Pour syrup over. Chill until set. Serve topped with whipped cream of whipped topping.
