2 cups sugar
2 cups shortening (I use butter)
1 (16 oz) can pumpkin
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg (optional)
½ tsp allspice
4 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Icing:
2 cups powdered sugar
4 oz cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening, pumpkin, eggs and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 12-15 mins.
Mix icing ingredients and spread on cooled cookies
