4 cups flour
1 2/3 cups shortening
2 tbs. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 egg
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into flour that has been mixed with salt and sugar. Mix together beaten egg, water and vinegar. Add to flour mixture with fork just until moistened. Shape in ball and chill for 15 minutes. Store in refrigerator.
