1 1/2 cups whole pecans
2 cups whole walnuts
1 cup sugar
2 egg whites
Dash of salt
1/2 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter in a jelly roll pan in a 325 degree oven. Beat the egg whites until they start to foam. Gradually beat in the sugar and salt to form a soft meringue. Stir in the nuts. Spread them onto the melted butter. Bake at 325 for about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to break up the meringue and to brown them evenly.

Floyd's mother made these for the holidays--yummy! I have fond memories of my dad munching on them. Can use all pecans if desired.
