2 Cans Tomato Paste
(1) 28 oz. Can Crushed of Whole Tomatoes
6 (Tomato Paste) Cans of Water
2 to 3 Garlic Cloves - Minced
1 Bay Leaf
1/2 tsp. Oregano (Optional)
Fresh Sweet Basil
Meat Balls
Hot Italian Sausage

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat balls and Italian sausage, set aside.

Lightly brown garlic. Add tomato paste and saute' a bit to caramelize.

Deglaze with water, add tomatoes, bay leaf and oregano (if using).

Add meat balls and Italian sausage, simmer for two (2) hours. Adjust consistency with more water if too thick or simmer longer if too thin.

Remove bay leaf, toss some of the sauce with the pasta to coat.

Serve the rest of the sauce on the side with the meat balls and Italian sausage.

Add fresh basil just before serving.

You can saute' a couple of medium yellow onions just before sautéing garlic if you like.

Another option is to deglaze with a good Italian Chianti rather than water.
