1 29 oz. can pumpkin (not pie mix),
1 1/2 c sugar, 1 13 oz can evaporated milk,
1 box yellow cake mix,
2 sticks melted butter,
1 t ground ginger,
2 t cinnamon,
1/2 t ground nutmeg,
4 eggs,
1/2 t salt
1 c chopped walnuts or pecans.

Beat pumpkin, eggs, sugar, evaporated milk, salt, and spices and pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle the cake mix over evenly. pour melted butter over cake mix. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Cool and slice into squares.
