"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Put the flour, sugar and pinch of salt in a food processor. Give it a swirl to incorporate the flour, sugar and the pinch of salt.

Cut up the ice cold butter flavor Crisco and the ice cold butter into pieces and add to the dry ingredients.

Mix the ice cold water with the vanilla.

Start to pulse the mixture to incorporate the butter with the flour. As you pulse the mixture slowly add the vanilla water mixture. Do not overwork the pie dough. Now make a ball out of the dough and refrigerate for an hour or overnight.

Roll out and make any pie filling you want.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The key to a flaky pie crust is not to overwork the dough.
