4 boneless chicken breasts
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. Italian bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove minced garlic
1 tsp butter
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
1 c. mozarella cheese
2 c. tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Pound chicken to 1/4" thick. Combine eggs, salt and pepper. Dip chicken into eggs and then into bread crumbs to coat. Heat oil in frying pan and brown chicken on both sides. Remove chicken and pour out excess oil. Stir in tomato sauce, basil and garlic into pan and simmer 10 min. Stir in butter. Pour over chicken in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and cover. Bake 350 for 30 min. Add mozarella and bake 5 more minutes. Serve over spaghetti or linguini.
