2 c. sugar
½ c. milk
¼ lb. butter
4 T cocoa
2 ½ c. quick cooking oats
¼ c. chopped nuts (opt.)
2 tsp. vanilla
½ c. peanut butter (opt.)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa for 1 ½ minutes.
Start timing when mixture reaches a full boil.
Remove from heat and Add oats, nuts, vanilla, and peanut butter.
Beat well until blended.
Spoon onto waxed paper.

*These were a go to cookie when we were growing up – they’re the next best thing to having fudge. Also, it takes almost no time to make these.
