1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. ground Black Pepper
1 Rutabaga, peeled and cubed
Pinch of sugar
2 Tbsp. Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Place rutabaga in a saucepan with enough water to cover. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Cover and cook until fork tender, about 45 minutes.
Reserve some water from the pan and drain rutabaga, Place rutabaga in a bowl and mash with butter and enough of the reserved cooking water (or milk) until the consistency is similar to mashed potatoes. Season to taste with additional salt and pepper. Place in a serving bowl and top with additional 1 Tbsp. of Butter, if desired.
