2 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1/3 cup Pine Nuts (or walnuts, pecans or almonds)
3 garlic cloves
Salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
With a food processor combine basil and nuts. Add garlic and salt, then add cheese. Slowly add oil until completely mixed.

NOTE: Pesto is easy to freeze. Omit the cheese when making the pesto, adding it once the mixture has been thawed.
