1/2 lb margarine
1 c granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 can Hershey chocolate syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 c + 1 tsp flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped walnuts
frosting
1 c granulated sugar
1/4 c milk
4 T margarine
1/3 c chocolate chips

Brownies: Blend margarine with sugar. Add eggs, 2 at a time, beating well after each. Add chocolate syrup and vanilla. Sift flour with baking powder. Add to above mixture. Add 1 cup chopped walnuts. Bake in 15" X 11" jelly roll pan in 350º oven for 30 minutes. Frosting: Combine sugar, milk and margarine. Boil 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Put frosting on brownies while frosting and brownies are both hot.
