1 - Large Beef or Pork Roast
(Beef - Chuck, Sirlon; Pork - Boston But, Shoulder)
Rinse & season with salt and pepper
Place in Dutch Oven
1 - diced large onion, and fresh mushrooms
1 - envelope of Liptons onion & mushroom soup mix - Cook slowly until browned or scorched on sides - add 2 cups water and continue for 1 hour
Thicken drippings with T flour and water mixture

Allow roast to cook until desired tenderness
Gravy should be smooth
Slice to serve with rice/gravy
Slice to serve on sandwiches
