French Toast:
4 Eggs, beaten
1 C. Milk
1/4 C. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 tsp. grated Orange Peel
1/4 tsp. ground Cinnamon
12-1 inch thick slices of French Bread, sliced diagonally.
Butter, melted

Orange Butter:
1/2 C. Butter, softened
1 Tbsp. frozen Orange Juice concentrate
2 Tbsp. grated Orange Peel


Fluffy Cream:
1/3 C. Powdered Sugar
1/4 C. Sour Cream
1 C. Cool Whip©, thawed

French Toast:
In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, orange peel and cinnamon. Arrange bread slices in a 10" x 15" pan. Pour egg mixture over bread and let stand until partially absorbed; turn slices and allow bread to completely absorb remaining mixture. Place pan in freezer uncovered, until firm (about 1 hour). Using a large spatula, loosen bread slices from pan. Place slices in freezer storage bags, seal and freeze until needed.

To bake: Grease a 10" x 15" pan. Preheat oven to 450º. Place frozen bread slices on greased pan. Brush top side of each slice with melted butter. Bake for 8 minutes. Turn slices over; brush with melted butter. Return to oven and continue baking until lightly browned, about 8 minutes. Top slices with Orange Butter or Fluffy Cream.

Orange Butter (Makes 1/2 C.):
Combine all ingredients together until well blended. Refrigerate.

Fluffy Cream (Makes 1-2/3 C.):
Combine sugar and sour cream, fold in Cool Whip©. Refrigerate.
