3 1/2 cups milk
1/2 vinegar
4 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix milk and vinegar together and set aside for 5-10 minutes.
Combine dry ingredients, except baking soda, together in large bowl. Add milk and vinegar mixture and stir. Add baking soda and stir again.
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350º for 60-70 minutes. Remove from pans to cool.

This is a fast no-fail bread. It's a good one for taking to neighbors or as a side with a meal. It's good alone or with butter or jam/honey.
