1 loaf (8 oz) french baguette, cut into 1-inch slices
6 eggs
3 cups milk
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

Arrange bread in greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. In large bowl, whack together eggs, milk, the 3/4 cup brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour mixture evenly over read; turn slices as needed to coat completely. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Just before baking, sprinkles berries over bread. Heat butter with the 1/4 cup brown sugar in small saucepan over medium heat until bubbly. Drizzle over berries. Bake in 375 degrees oven for 20-25 minutes until set. If desired, dust with powdered sugar and serve with blueberry syrup.
