1 T garlic
1/2 C soy sauce
1/2 C dry red wine
1 1/2 to 2 lb filet Mignon roast

Directions:

Mix together 1st three ingredients, pour into large zip bag. Add roast and marinade overnight. In a roasting pan, make aluminum foil into boat like shape. Place the marinaded roast into foil. Cook 5 min per lb at 500º. Turn off oven then cover roast with foil and keep in hot oven for 45 min. Slice and serve. The roast will be rare to med rare. Cook 6-7 min per lb for med (still with 45 min covered in hot oven). Do not open oven during 45 min.
