1/2 c butter-melted
1 c sugar
1 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c milk
3 - 4 c of fruit (recipe calls for 3 - I usually add 4)
(peaches, cherries or berries work well)
1/2 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, 1 c sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Blend by hand - it will be lumpy -and pour into an 8 x 8 square pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Combine 1/2 c sugar with the fresh fruit. Pour over batter. Bake at 375º for 30-40 mins.
