1 1/2 - 2 c. confectioner's sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
boiling water or milk
food coloring

Directions:
Combine sugar, vanilla and enough boiling water or milk to make a thin spreadable glaze; add food coloring. I desired decorate with colored sugar or cookie decorations.

We always divided the glaze into different bowls, adding a different food coloring to each bowl, so that we ended up with a variety of frosting colors
