Vegetable oil
6 pork chops
2 t salt
1 ½ t sage
3 tart apples
1/3 C raisins
3 T molasses
3 T flour
2 C hot water
1 T cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Season each pork chop with ¼ t salt and ¼ t sage
In skillet, slowly brown on both sides in small amount vegetable oil
Place chops in shallow baking dish, reserve drippings
Peel, core and slice apples ¼ “ thick, arrange on chops
Sprinkle flour over drippings in skillet - cook until brown, stirring occasionally.
Slowly add water, stirring to keep smooth, bring to a boil
Stir in cider vinegar, ½ t salt, and raisins.
Pour over apples and chops
Cover/Bake 350° - 1 hour
