1 C raisins
1 tsp. baking soda
1 C plus water
3/4 C margarine
1 C sugar
1 egg
1 ¾ C flour
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. cloves

Icing:
2 c Confectioner's sugar
6 T lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins in 1 cup water. Set aside and cool.
Cream together in mixer - margarine, sugar, and egg. In a separate bowl, mx together flour, soda, and salt. Blend into creamed mixture. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix well. Fold in cooled raisins. Grease and flour large sheet pan. Pour mixture into pan. Bake 350° - 20-30 minutes
Mix sugar and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth. Spread icing on bars when cool
