Ham ( half Shank or Butt )
4 potatoes ( i put these in whole or halfed)
4 Carrots,peeled ( i put these in whole)
1 Onion,peeled and cut in wedges
small turnip,peeled and sliced
1 bag parnips,peeled ( put in whole)
medium Cabbage,outer leaves trimmed & cut in wedges)

Directions:
Directions:
Put Ham ,onion in large stock pot, put in enough water on high heat to begin boiling. Turn heat down to medium and add peeled,sliced turnip and cook 2-21/2 hours.
Add rest of vegetables and cook till vegetables are done.
