1 1/2 c flour
1 c sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. vinegar
5 tbsp. melted butter
1 c warm water or coffee
Directions:
Directions:
In an 8 x 8 inch pan mix together the dry ingredients. Then make 3 holes in the dry ingredients. In one put the vanilla; in another put vinegar & in another put the melted shortening. Over all pour water or coffee. Mix well. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean. Cool and frost.
