Ingredients: 1 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups flour 8 - 10 Hershey's chocolate bars 1/2 cup (or more) chopped pecans

Directions:Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the egg and vanilla. Then mix in the flour. Spread dough into a lightly greased 10 x 15 pan. Bake at 350º until golden on top...about 15 - 20 minutes. While hot out of the oven lay 8 - 10 Hershey's milk chocolate bars on the top. Wait a couple of minutes until they are melted and then spread the chocolate. Sprinkle chopped pecans over chocolate. Wait for the chocolate to set up again (can refrigerate to make it faster) and then slice. Almonds are good on these also. |

Notes: I'm considering renaming these Cade's Mission Cookies since we made them for his farewell and they disappeared so quickly we ended up making five batches! There is actually no toffee in them...they just resemble toffee I suppose. The recipe comes from my mom and we love them!
