12 medium carrots peeled
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1-2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Cut carrots into slices and cook in a small amount of water until tender, but not mushy. Remove from heat and set aside. In a saucepan, melt butter. Add maple syrup, carrots, basil and salt. Stir well to coat carrots thoroughly with butter sauce. Serve immediately.
