1 lb beef sirloin, petit tender, or tenderloin
2 T olive oil
1/2 lb mushrooms, washed trimmed, & sliced
1/2 c onion, minced
10 oz can beef broth or bouillon
2 T ketchup
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
2 T flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat across the grain into 1/2-inch strips, about 2 inches long.
Heat olive oil in large skillet. Add mushrooms & onions. Saute until onion in tender, then remove from skillet & set aside.
In same skillet, cook meat on medium high heat until light brown. Reserve 1/3 c of the broth; add remainder to skillet. Stir in ketchup, salt & garlic.
Cover & simmer 15 minutes.
Blend reserved broth with flour. Stir into meat mixture until smooth. Add mushrooms & onion. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil & stir 2 minutes.

Serve over buttered noodles.
