3 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
1-1/2 c. warm water

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Add milk and mix well. Add warm water a little at a time while stirring.
Knead the dough until soft but not sticky. Cover bowl and let stand for about 15 minutes. Make balls about 2-3 inches across and roll them out into pancakes about 1/4 inch thick.
Melt some lard or shortening in a frying pan. Fry the pancakes until bubbles appear in the dough, then turn over and fry until done.
